Take the fruit in the lines of your hand. Do not look for your fate in palm lines; pluck the fruit by the work of your own hands.

Explanation
Commentators read this line in more than one way. One reading: do not ask your palm lines about the future; work with that very hand and win the fruit. This fits the precept 'scorn astrology'. Another reading takes 'rekai' as a drawn plan: carry out what you have planned and reap its fruit.
Either way the point is the same: the fruit comes from effort. The traditional morning verse 'karagre vasate lakshmih', Lakshmi dwells at the tips of the fingers, said while looking at one's palms, shows the same thing: prosperity lies in the work of the hands.
