Explanation

'He makes even his revilers prosper' is a famous phrase from the Alankaram. Even if one curses him in Tamil, he blesses for the sake of that Tamil. The Tamil god's love of the language and his mercy even towards foes shine here.

From the Kamba Ramayanam, Yuddha Kandam

Go today, come tomorrow

On the first day of battle Ravana lost his chariot, bow and crown and stood empty-handed. Rama could have killed him then. But, Kamban sings, Rama said, 'Go today, and come back to fight tomorrow,' and let him go alive. That magnanimity, which gives even an enemy another chance, shines also in his nephew who makes his revilers prosper.
