பொருள்
பரந்த அலைகளை உடைய வெள்ளத்தை முகந்து, பெருவலிமை கொண்ட வானம் பெரிய மலையை அடைகிறது. இருண்ட அலங்காரம் கொண்ட இந்தக் காலத்தில்தான் வருவேன் என்று குறித்துச் சென்றார்; அவர் அணிந்திருக்கும் அழகிய நுதலாளின் நிலை இதோ.
Meaning
Drinking the flood of spreading waves, the mighty sky reaches the great mountain. It was in this dark-adorned season that he fixed his time; and this is the state of the woman of the shining brow he adorned.

முதல் இரண்டு அடிகள் வானத்தின் ஆற்றலைக் காட்டுகின்றன. அது கடல் வெள்ளத்தைக் குடித்து மலையை அடைகிறது — ஒரு பெரும் பயணம்.

Explanation
The first two lines show the power of the sky, which drinks the ocean flood and reaches the mountain: a great journey.
Then that journey is laid beside his. This is the dark-adorned season he named. So the verse closes as an accusation: the time you fixed has come, and look at what has become of her.
