Meaning
The fruits of deeds neither shrink nor swell, nor come out of their order; they do not come to our rescue on demand, but arrive where they are due. So when the snare set at the start of life springs at its appointed hour, why grieve?

Explanation
The fruit of deeds comes at its own time and in its own measure, not when we ask for it.
So it is useless to wail when hardship comes; to accept it calmly is wisdom.

To reflect on
What must come will come; do not grieve.
