கடிப்பிடு கண்முரசம் காதத்தோர் கேட்பர்இடித்து முழங்கியதோர் யோசனையோர் கேட்பர்அடுக்கிய மூவுலகும் கேட்குமே சான்றோர்கொடுத்தா ரெனப்படும் சொல்.

பொருள்
கையில் பிடித்து அடிக்கும் முரசின் ஓசை அருகில் இருப்பவரே கேட்பர்; முழங்கிய ஒரு யோசனை தூரத்தில் இருப்பவர் கேட்பர். ஆனால் 'சான்றோர் கொடுத்தார்' என்ற சொல்லோ அடுக்கிய மூவுலகும் கேட்கும்.
Meaning
The drum struck by hand is heard only by those near; a shout carries a league. But the words 'the noble gave' are heard through all three worlds stacked together.
