இறப்பச் சிறிதென்னா தில்லென்னா தென்றும்அறப்பயன் யார்மாட்டும் செய்க - முறைப்புதவின்ஐயம் புகூஉம் தவசி கடிஞைபோல்பைய நிறைத்து விடும்.

பொருள்
'மிகச் சிறியது' என்றும் சொல்லாதே, 'ஒன்றுமில்லை' என்றும் சொல்லாதே; எந்நாளும் யாருக்கும் அறத்தின் பயனைச் செய். முறைப்படி உதவி வந்தால், தவசியின் கடிஞை போல அது மெல்ல நிறைந்துவிடும்.
Meaning
Do not say it is too small, do not say it is nothing; do good to anyone, always. If it comes in the right way, it fills slowly, like the ascetic's water-pot.
