Meaning
Hear the state of the three realities in liberation: the soul enjoys the pure experience; the Lord gives bliss in abundance; and the malam, now powerless and subdued, has its part in bringing this about. My dear son, see this with love.

Explanation
In Shaiva Siddhanta all three remain even in liberation: the soul experiences, Shiva gives grace, and the malam, though present, is powerless and subdued, like copper that shines as gold once alchemy has removed its verdigris, or like poison that is present but cannot kill once bound by a mantra. The malam's part in 'bringing this about' is read in more than one way; one reading is that bliss is known only because the malam has been removed. This line is one to clarify with a teacher.
To reflect on
Do we believe we can live without being slaves to our old failings, even if they are still with us?
