பாலோ டளாயநீர் பாலாகு மல்லதுநீராய் நிறம்தெரிந்து தோன்றாதாம் - தேரின்சிறியார் சிறுமையும் தோன்றாதாம், நல்லபெரியார் பெருமையைச் சார்ந்து.

பொருள்
பாலோடு கலந்த நீர் பாலாகவே ஆகும்; நீராக நின்று தன் நிறத்தைக் காட்டாது. ஆராய்ந்தால், சிறியாரின் சிறுமையும் நல்ல பெரியாரின் பெருமையைச் சார்ந்தால் தோன்றாது.
Meaning
Water mixed with milk becomes milk and does not stand apart showing its own colour. So, examined closely, the smallness of the small does not show when they lean on the greatness of the good.
