Meaning
However great the evil a stranger has done, look at it and what is there in it to grieve over? But the wrong done by those whose love has grown deep, O lord of the land of roaring falls, stands inside the heart and becomes a great thing.

Explanation
The verse weighs two wrongs. The first is the wrong done by a stranger — one who is not ours. Look at it, and there is nothing in it to grieve over. The reason is plain: he has no thread in us, so his deed finds no place in the mind.
The second is of another kind. 'Those in whom love has grown thick.' Their wrong may look small on the outside. Yet it stands inside the heart and becomes great. So the size of a hurt is not set by the size of the act but by the size of the love.
To reflect on
A stranger's wrong is let go; the wrong of one who is dear weighs inside the heart.
