Explanation
The Koyil Puranam tells that Patanjali and Vyaghrapada saw the Lord's dance at Thillai. Like them, sages freed of the malam watch this dance and drink of its bliss. Chidambaram is praised as the 'Chitrambalam' and the 'space of wisdom': the true hall is the open space of the heart, and only a still mind sees the One who dances there. The word division in the second line of this verse may differ between editions.
To reflect on
Do we believe that the dance within is seen only when the mind grows still?
