Explanation
In Siddhanta, 'night and day' are the kevala state (the night of being wholly sunk in anavam) and the sakala state (the day of living in a body and experiencing the world). Beyond both is the pure (suddha) state. When the soul recites 'Sivayanama' it reaches that pure state, and grace itself joins it to Shiva. The word 'this very day' says this is to be had now, not only after death.
