Meaning

He sees that beauty, youth and shining wealth do not last even through a single life, and still does not do one good deed. Such a man's life amounts only to taking a body, standing up for a while, and falling down.

Explanation

Beauty, youth and wealth all vanish within a single life. One who sees this and still does no good has wasted his birth.

'Stood up and fell' tells that whole life story in three words.

To reflect on

Was this life only for standing up and falling down?
