Meaning
Over the wealth the miser sits saying 'mine, mine'; I too shall sit saying 'mine, mine'. If it is truly his, he neither gives it nor enjoys its use — and I too will leave it exactly as it is.

Explanation
The verse's tone is light, and the sting is hidden in it. The poor wretch says 'mine'; I too say 'mine.' We use the same word. And neither of us is going to get any use out of it.
Mockery and truth arrive together here. In fact the wealth is not his; he is only its watchman. If mere keeping were ownership, then I, who keep nothing, stand in the same position. The verse breaks our pride about possession: a thing that is never used belongs to no one.
To reflect on
A thing put to no use belongs to nobody.
