நற்றவத்தோர் தாம்காண நாதாந்தத்து அஞ்சு எழுத்தால்உற்று உருவாய் நின்று ஆடல் உள்ளபடி – பெற்றிடநான்விண்ணார் பொழில்வெண்ணெய் மெய்கண்ட நாதனே!தண்ணார் அருளாலே சாற்று.

பொருள்
(சீடன்:) விண்ணைத் தொடும் சோலைகள் சூழ்ந்த வெண்ணெய்நல்லூர் மெய்கண்ட நாதனே! நல்ல தவம் உடையவர்கள் காணும்படி, நாதாந்தத்தில் ஐந்தெழுத்தால் உருவம் கொண்டு நின்று இறைவன் ஆடும் ஆடலை, நான் உள்ளபடி பெறும்படி குளிர்ந்த அருளால் சொல்லியருள்.
Meaning
(Disciple:) O Meykanda Natha of Vennainallur, ringed by groves that touch the sky! Tell me with your cool grace, so that I may receive it as it truly is, the dance the Lord dances beyond nada, taking a form made of the five letters so that those of true tapas may see it.

Explanation
Here the special part of the book begins: the philosophical meaning of the Ananda Tandava of Nataraja at Thillai. 'Nadanta' is the state beyond the limit of sound; the Lord who dances there takes a form only for the sake of His devotees. His form is not made of maya like our bodies; it is made of grace, of the five letters.
