Srimad Bhagavatam, Seventh CantoPrahlada's Lesson to His Classmates
From the Srimad Bhagavatam, Seventh Canto. While still in his mother's womb, Prahlada heard and took to heart the teaching on devotion that the sage Narada gave his mother Kayadhu.
Later, at the school of the asura teachers, while the teachers were away, he gathered his classmates and said: "A wise person should learn the path to God in childhood itself. Human birth is rare and fleeting. Do not wait for old age."
The asura children listened and their hearts were changed. The lessons learned in youth kept Prahlada unshaken through every threat.
