Meaning

Unless both words, 'I' and 'he', perish, the truth appears to no one. Through the teaching of Murugan, abode of grace, nephew of Vishnu who became a boar and dug up the ancient, vast earth, it is a meeting that happens in that solitary space where there is not even a witness.

Explanation

As long as we divide into 'I' and 'he', there is duality. When both perish there is no seer and no seen: a solitary space with not even a witness. It is a Tamil voice of non-dual experience.

From the Srimad Bhagavatam, Book 3

The Varaha avatar

The asura Hiranyaksha carried the earth away and hid it beneath the waters of dissolution. From Brahma's nostril a tiny boar emerged and in an instant grew to the size of a mountain. Vishnu himself, as Varaha, plunged into the waters, defeated the asura and lifted the earth up on his tusks. To raise up what is sunk in the depths is the Lord's work; his grace will raise the truth buried within us too.
