ஆதவன் தன் சன்னிதியில் அம்புலியின் ஆர்சோதிபேதம் அற நிற்கின்ற பெற்றிபோல் – நாதாந்தத்துஅண்ணல் திருவடியில் ஆன்மா அணைந்து இன்பக்கண்ணில் அழுந்தியிடும் காண்.

பொருள்
சூரியனின் முன்னிலையில் சந்திரனின் நிறைந்த ஒளி வேறுபாடு இல்லாமல் (அதில் அடங்கி) நிற்கும் தன்மை போல, நாதாந்தத்தில் இறைவனின் திருவடியில் ஆன்மா சேர்ந்து, இன்பத்தின் கண்ணில் ஆழ்ந்துவிடும், காண்.
Meaning
As the full light of the moon stands without difference in the presence of the sun, so the soul, reaching the Lord's holy feet beyond nada, is immersed in the eye of bliss. See it.

பகலில் சந்திரன் வானில் இருந்தாலும் அதன் ஒளி தனியாகத் தெரிவதில்லை; சூரிய ஒளியில் அடங்கிவிடுகிறது. சந்திரன் அழியவில்லை, ஆனால் அதன் ஒளி தனித்துத் தோன்றுவதில்லை. அதுபோல முத்தியில் ஆன்மா இருக்கிறது, ஆனால் அதன் சிற்றறிவு சிவனின் பேரறிவில் அடங்கிவிடுகிறது. ஆன்மா அழிவதில்லை என்பதும், தனித்துத் தோன்றுவதில்லை என்பதும் ஒரே உவமையில் சொல்லப்படுகின்றன.
Explanation
By day the moon may be in the sky, yet its light is not seen apart; it is absorbed in sunlight. The moon has not perished, but its light does not shine on its own. So in liberation the soul exists, but its small knowledge is absorbed in Shiva's vast knowledge. The one image says both that the soul is not destroyed and that it no longer appears apart.
